Adam Sandler Revisits ‘Happy Gilmore’ To Celebrate Film’s 25th Anniversary – Deadline

Happy Gilmore by Adam Sandler still has the skills 25 years after Dennis Dugan premiered. Sandler celebrated Happy Gilmore25th Anniversary on Twitter by viewing his golf pieces in a video.

“It’s been 25 years since I did this, let’s see what happens. McGavin shooter, this is for you,” Sandler said, devoting his impressive volley to his opponent on screen. “I’m not lying to you. That’s broken. It’s broken. Things went well. You’re dead, shooter.”

In the movie, Sandler plays a retired hockey player who seeks to test his golf skills to save his grandmother’s house. Sandler starred alongside Julie Bowen, Francis Bay, and Christopher MacDonald, who appeared as Shooter McGavin.

However, Sandler wasn’t the only one directing him Gilmore is happy A character to celebrate the movie. Soon after Hubie Halloween Actor’s video, MacDonald launched his own response to the Sandler Golf Challenge and shared it on Twitter.

“Nice trip, Gilmore. 25 years old, huh? Before launching a golf ball in a cup on the ground, MacDonald said, let’s see if the shooters round.

“Thanks to all the fans and thank you, Adam Sandler, why don’t you meet me at nine green at nine, Gilmore? Oh and Glamor, wear something nice,” MacDonald continued.
