Disney+ Sets ‘Parallels’ From Quoc Dang Tran As First French Original – Deadline

Exclusive: Quoc Dang Tran, Netflix horror drama writer Marian, It landed Disney +’s first French-language original drama.

The six-part series follows four teenage friends, on the Franco-Swiss border, whose lives are turned upside down by an experiment on LHC – the world’s largest particle collider.

Within a split second, the universe cancels out its rules: time, space and the multiverse mix together. Teens will do everything they can to try to understand what happened and turn the clock back. The mysterious event pushes the group of 14-year-olds into parallel dimensions, making them race to return home before their future changes forever.

The series, which has just started production, is produced by Tran’s Daïmôn Films and Empreinte Digitale, the company behind the French science fiction drama.
