Whoops, shout, shout! The Factory and Laika signed a multi-year distribution deal that will see Shout! Bringing in the top four films – all Academy Award nominees – from animation studio productions to home entertainment.
Under the terms of the charter, shout! It receives the rights to distribute American home entertainment in all media packaged to Cobo and Khaitan (2016), Boxstrols (2014), Paranorman (2012) and Coraline (2009). Offerings will include new bonus content, collectible packaging, and specialist releases under development.

Their legendary creativity, independent spirit and compelling storytelling have inspired us and we continue to entertain audiences around the world,” said Melissa Boa, Senior Vice President of Family Entertainment at Shout! The factory, on Monday, announced the deal. “We are extremely excited about this new opportunity with Laika and look forward to presenting these beloved films with useful additions and lavish packaging to fans and collectors everywhere.”

The deal was negotiated by Shout’s Jordan Fields! And Stephen Katz, Michael Wagalter and Colin Geiger from Leica.
